Registration Fees & Deadlines

Conference Check In and Registration Hours

If you are already registered or want to register at the door, please plan to arrive at the conference during registration hours:
Saturday, November 5 – 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Sunday, November 6 – 7:30 am – 6:00 pm
Monday, November 7 – 7:30 am – 12:00 pm, 1:15 pm – 6:00 pm
Tuesday, November 8 – 7:30 am – 1:30 pm

Full Conference Registration (Main Event)

Full conference registration includes all events Sunday morning through Tuesday, as well as the following meals:

  • breakfast Sunday, Monday & Tuesday
  • lunch on Monday
  • A Taste of Oakland Reception on Monday evening

Pre-Conference field trips and short courses are not included in the conference registration fees.

Single Day Conference Registration

Sunday – $125
Monday – $150 (does not include evening reception)
Tuesday – $125

During registration, you will be asked to RSVP for the following optional events:

A Taste of Oakland Reception – included in Full Registration or $45
Monday November 7, 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm

Short Courses

Friday and Saturday, November 4 & 5
Short courses range in price from $35 – $75, please see the Pre-Conference Event page for details.

Please note that the pre-conference events fill up on a first-come, first-served basis.  You must pay for the event before your registration is confirmed.

Cancellations & Refunds

You can cancel your registration for a refund, or you can give your registration to another person by changing the name on your registration. Refunds requested prior to October 16 will be charged a $50 refund fee.  No refunds are possible after October 16. No exceptions.

Please notify us as early as possible if you need to cancel or change the name on your registration by contacting erica@foodsecurity.org.

Workshop presenters

Workshop and Networking Session presenters will receive an email with registration instructions to receive your speaker discount. Please do not register until you have received a discount code.

Financial Assistance

Limited scholarships and work exchange opportunities are available to cover conference registration. Go to the Scholarships page to learn more.
